The Dustin Gig

My friend Dustin plays acoustic guitar with me sometimes at various parties. Completely unrehearsed; Just whatever we happen to know at the time. Well, his wife was planning a party for her Aunt and Uncle's anniversary. She decided it might be fun if Dustin and I could play at it as the entertainment. I countered with, "Well, I know a drummer and a bass player; How'd you like a whole band?"

So, the four of us got together a few times to practice and put together a set list of old rock and roll and country songs. (Dustin sounds alot like Garth Brooks when he sings.) It was alot of work hauling all of my band stuff to Severna Park for the gig in a community hall, but it was definitely worth it. It was a whole lot of fun. We got paid in beer.

Margaritaville 2004 1:11 This is otherwise know as "The National Drinking Song". Dustin sings this one as the rest of the band plays along.
Brown Eyed Girl 2004 1:16 This is a spliced together version of "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison. It includes some decent shots of Steve singing, too.
The Dance 2004 1:13 This is the Garth Brooks song, "The Dance". We dedicated it to Dustin's Aunt and Uncle, who are seen dancing on the left side of the frame in this video.
